To provide an equal opportunity to all people desiring a career in cosmetology, to give each student the best training possible, teaching them specific skills and related subjects necessary for them to be successfully employed in the cosmetology industry.
A Brief History
Ohio State Beauty Academy is a development of the original organization founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1935. The school was acquired in 1980 by George R. Schwier, who started with the organization in 1960 in Columbus, Ohio. Ohio State Beauty Academy has had various owners since that time with the University of Northwestern Ohio taking over ownership December 31st, 2008.
Accreditation
Ohio State Beauty Academy is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS).
Licenses & Approval
Ohio State Beauty Academy is licensed by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board and approved by the Ohio Department of Education to offer veterans training.
